Young British artist Danielle Tomlinson pairs a modern and contemporary approach to all her animal paintings. Danielle’s art features dynamic brush strokes and vivid colours to breath life, character and personality into all her funky creations. She has chosen animals as her main body of work to encourage the appreciation of all species in this a new world which is loosing touch with nature.
Young and full of inspiration, Danielle pairs reference photo’s with her own imagination to create a loose and energetic approach on some very traditional subject matters.
‘I like to put my own charisma and personality into all my paintings. I’ve been passionate about wildlife since a child so I want to just let loose, but still make the subjects instantly recognisable’.
Born in Leicestershire in 1998, most of her life involved a career in swimming but recently traded in her goggles for paint brushes to pursue her lifelong passion. Danielle continues to live in the heartlands of the UK, whereby Leicestershire continues to serve as inspiration to all her paintings.
‘Life is fun and full of excitement. I want all my paintings to stop people in their tracks and take a moment away from their screens to appreciate the wonderful world that surrounds us’.
